For the new Toyota Prius, a custom single-page site was created to showcase commercials, featured videos, and utilities that highlight all the 2016 updates. The site was written using a combination of PHP for web services and a custom HTML5 and Javascript front-end to display each content section.
The introductory section displayed a series of looping commercials from Vimeo and used the Vimeo API to manage events and playback. Below that, the site integrated a color selector, YouTube 360 video, and a dealer locator which taps into a custom geolocation database and web service. The site was fully responsive and directed users to the main Toyota website for additional information.
